60 minutes · 3 sections · 40 questions. You have one hour to read three sets of texts and answer 40 questions. There is no extra transfer time — in the General Training Reading paper, your answers must be finished within the hour.
This paper is built to put every General Training task type in front of you: True/False/Not Given, diagram labelling, table and flow-chart completion, short answers, matching features, matching headings, matching sentence endings, multiple choice, and Yes/No/Not Given.
Work quickly: Section 3 carries the same marks as Section 1 but takes far longer to read, so most candidates aim to leave Section 1 within about 15 minutes. Spelling counts. Where a question says NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS, an answer of three words scores zero even if the meaning is right.
Like the real test: select text and right-click to highlight it or attach a note; tick flag for review on any question you want to come back to; use the numbered buttons at the bottom to move around. Your work is saved automatically, so a refresh will not lose it.
